Design and enhance the user experience for Tipico Casino's mobile and web apps, providing a fast, fun, and seamless way to enjoy online casino games in New Jersey. Post-launch focused on maintaining and improving the platform’s user experience. Collaborated with a third-party consultant to implement a comprehensive redesign, aiming to differentiate Tipico Casino from competitors and deliver greater value to users while ensuring the experience remained simple, seamless, and enjoyable.
Design Objective
How might we make the existing simple casino design more engaging and enjoyable while keeping it easy to navigate and retaining the core user base? At the same time, how can we balance strict compliance requirements with creating a more innovative and user-friendly experience that stands out from other flashy online casinos?
Solution
- Utilize video streaming platform-inspired layouts to maintain easy searchability for games and improve scanability/readability for better usability.
- Transition to a darker, bolder color palette for a visually appealing and exciting user experience.
- Shift away from traditional approaches used by direct competitors.
- Aim to create a fresh, engaging, and modern user experience.
Final Designs
Outcome
Tipico Casino consistently ranked as one of the top-rated online casino apps in the Eilers and Krejcik report and was even voted the #1 online casino in New Jersey for 2023. Following the redesign, the app not only improved its ratings but also achieved impressive results, generating $1 million in NGR within just one month of the launch.
